Yummy in my tummy

I feel like I should be sloshing when I walk. Bringing in Cheerios cereal and adding milk at work makes for a really nice breakfast. And I almost never usually drink milk, so that's an added bonus! How great is it to start your day with cereal and then being able to drink the leftover milk from the "bowl" (plastic container)? Wonderful!

My eyes don't want to focus this morning. Sleep last night: two hours. When 11 PM rolled around, my body felt like it was dinner time/early evening. When 12 arrived (lights out time) it still didn't feel anything even close to time to sleep, but I turned out my lights anyway. No sleep.

I think there really is a person living next door to me, which sucks. He clomps around (walks really heavy with some kind of hard shoes) all night. I stayed awake listening to him. And his parking spot is next to mine, and he drives one of those "extended" pickup trucks. Lucky me, he's the biggest vehicle in the lot! It's a pain in the ass getting out around him. Sigh. If this keeps up, I might not bother asking to get my rent lowered and just move out. Whimper. Hate hate hate the thought of moving, but...

...I think my head might already be in a "moving" state. I'm half-collecting boxes and have been going through my things and throwing stuff out. If I do move, I've decided not to bring a lot of my books with me. Yeah, I shipped them across the country when I moved out here, but I haven't read them in ten+ years and I'm not really intending to read them again, so why keep them? I can more than use the shelf space...

This week's HP100 story

This week's challenge:

"The challenge: use all five senses (sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing) in one one-hundred word drabble. Since it's Harry Potter, you could probably throw in the sixth sense too, if you wish."

My little story:

Man, I'm behind on updating my HP100 page. I need to add whatever I did last week (I think only one...). I feel like such a slacker.

(Edit: Updating done!)

Silly Summaries

I've thought about collecting silly fanfic summaries, but since I could never do it as well as McTabby, I mostly push that thought out of my mind. This one, however, needs to be shared. Whole thing:

Kathryn Lim can survive, just not right now

So guess that this chapter will be the last one of the story?

These Fiction Alley emailed updates are killing me! It's so easy to fall behind, even with a digest mailing. Seems like I always have four or five in my box to comb through.

Problem with catching up: Then I have an extra-long list of stories/chapters I need to read!

Problem with not catching up: I'll miss notification of updated WIPs I'm reading! Aie!

Wow, I'm hyper. A soda and M&Ms will do that to you...

My daughter, the bodybuilder mistress waitress!

I said I was going to uninstall Princess Maker, but I was weak and did not. I gave in and played another game tonight. I wish it could somehow be shortened, I can't spend hours on this thing!

So, my daughter turned out better this time! ('Better' being more interesting.) I spent her first 3.5 years building up her strength and making her into a warrior (she was able to kill nearly anything, including the dragons!) I got her the best weapon and the best armor. This makes the second half of her time with me all the more amusing. Imagine this musclebound 13 year old, and I mean muscular to put a grown male bodybuilder to shame. Next I built up her sin and charisma. Alas, she got arrested five times in one year (which knocks your sin down to zero each time), so my ending sin wasn't too high, but her charisma got up to match the same rating as her strength!

So we now have an 18 year old, more muscular than Arnold Schwarzenegger, but one of the most beautiful "women" (girl) on the planet. Add into it that she's the mistress to two different men, and she works in a "sleazy bar" doing "waitressing and whatnot" (I love that 'and whatnot'). All this, and I still got a passable father rating! Heh heh heh.

Alas, this is my third time through the game, and the same as the other times no one would marry my daughter! This might be the reason why...

Letter from my daughter to me. I choose to believe that this is written totally sarcastically. (Read the second paragraph especially!)

My daughter's final fate. (No, they don't adjust the graphics based on your weight or muscles or anything.)

...though she didn't have a brain in her head.

Edit: Catlove is being a bitch tonight, so if the links don't work, then sorry.
