This is just a test, if this was a real post, actual content would follow...

If anyone sees anything besides "test" below, please please please leave me a comment.

Someone claimed that he was seeing a gross image, which (since I don't post gross stuff) would likely be my anti-leech script -- which shouldn't be triggered by anything on LJ.

So if you see anything besides 'Test' above, please leave me a comment and let me know if you're looking at this page through some non-normal browser, a proxy, a client, or anything else that might effect these things.

Thanks!

Edited to add: I think the issue has to do with the - in my username. While "*livejournal*" should be permitted to get an image from catlove, 'thistle_chaser.livejournal.com' is having a problem. (LJ changes all dashes into underscores.) 'thistle-chaser.livejournal.com' has no problem. So hm, how to fix this...

Another ETA: *&*&^&#!&$ Stupid thing. I just turned off all hotlink protection. As far as I can tell, any "username.livejournal.com" format randomly triggers the anti-leech script. Mutter, mutter, mutter.

Am I a mush after all?

When it comes to entertainment, my tastes run towards dark. Burnt out cops, the world after the bad guys won, heck, the world after most people are dead of some plague or another. Stories without happy endings. Stories with death and sadness and characters in pain. All that stuff.

So how surprising is it that The American President one of my favorite movies ever? It's just so sweet and the two main characters so belong together and they make such a great couple but then they think they can't be together but in the end they get back together and it's so cute and sweet and and and and *pant*

It's so not me to like love stories, but this is such a great one. I feel like such a girl when I watch it... and I watch it every time it's on. Eee!

Who is peer and why is he resetting my connection?

This exchange just had to be saved. (To connect to a MUSH, you need to telnet in, thus you need the server's name (or IP) and a port. This guest came in through a telnet link on our website instead of through a tool meant to MUSH through.)

[Guest] Guest1 says, "I'm seeing an error that says I'm unable to connect and that the connection was reset by peer."
[Guest] Thistle-Chaser says, "What's the domain name or IP and port you're trying?"
[Guest] Guest1 says, "I have no clue."
[Guest] Thistle-Chaser says, "That might be the problem then. You need to try to connect to the right domain and port..."
[Guest] Guest1 says, "Ok then, in the error message it said the connection was canceled by peer. Who would peer be?"

You know, peer. Peer. That guy. Riiiight.
